About the piece
A radial composition built in five rings. The solid black center opens into dotwork petals and, at the edges, alternating rays that expand the piece.
The density of the dots creates the tonal shift without continuous shading.
Concept
This piece grew from a composition developed specifically for the client, exploring contrast, texture and movement.
